Compatibility
The Palm Tamper Handle Upgrade is optimized to work with all V4.0 and 4.1 normcore tampers - no matter which size!
Our handles are not compatible with the new normcore Mini tamper, nor the V5.0!
All other 4.0 and 4.1 versions are still supported - no matter which plate size!
Care Instructions
Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
Wipe spills immediately with a damp cloth, followed by a dry cloth.
Do not let water sit on the surface—standing water can cause warping or staining.
Prolonged sunlight can fade or yellow wood (especially Walnut).
Free Shipping Threshold
This product ships from Germany, so it counts toward our $174.36 free-shipping threshold.
Products that ship domestically (from Germany, the US, Australia, or Canada, matching your delivery address) qualify for the lower $75.00 threshold. Products that ship internationally from Germany need the higher $174.36 threshold instead.

“Overall finish and quality exceeded my expectations for a 3D printed item. Print quality and transitions from textured to smooth areas was exceptional.
The oversized handle is comfortable and easy to press with the palm of the hand. I have a men’s size small hand and there was no problem ergonomically.
Installation was simple. Just take care while screwing on the handle: the inside threading is printed (there is no metal female threaded interior insert for the Normcore tamper rod) so make sure NOT to cross-thread the handle. Also do NOT over tighten and run the risk of stripping the threads.
Mehrdad (owner) answered all my questions about the handle and shipping in an accurate and timely manner. This was very much appreciated! Overall, this has been a 10-out of-10 experience and product.”

“This tamper handle is absolutely stunning and a pleasure to use. The wood feels and looks very high quality. The handle was very easy to install replacing it from the original Normcore handle. The parts fit perfectly. I’m using mine with the Normcore v4.1 which has the click mechanism which I find very satisfying. Tamping using this handle definition elevates the tamping experience as a simple palm press on the flat surface makes for better leverage and surface pressure. I would highly recommend this upgrade if you’re good with spending the added cost.”
