It started with a problem. It became a vision.
Fused Visions was never supposed to become a coffee equipment brand.
It started with me, Mehrdad, designing and making things for my own coffee setup in Munich, Germany.
I’ve always been fascinated by coffee equipment — not just by how it looks, but by how it works. And, perhaps more importantly, by the little things that don’t work.
A grinder that could do more.
A workflow that takes three unnecessary steps.
A great product that could become even better with one small addition.
Instead of accepting those limitations, I started trying to solve them.
At first, the solutions were just for me.
Then I started sharing them.
And people wanted them too.
That was the beginning of Fused Visions.
Work together, not against each other.
As Fused Visions grew, one principle became increasingly important to me:
Let’s work together instead of against each other.
This industry doesn’t need another company copying what somebody else has already created.
When I see a product I believe in, my first thought isn’t “How can I make my own version?”
It’s “How can we work together?”
I reach out to the people behind it. We start a conversation. We exchange ideas and look for ways our products, knowledge and communities can complement each other.
Sometimes that means developing an accessory that expands what their product can do. Sometimes it means creating an entirely new workflow around it. Sometimes it develops into distribution, production or a partnership neither of us anticipated when the first message was sent.
The goal is the same:
Grow the pie instead of fighting over the slices.
Fused Visions means exactly that.
The name has become more appropriate with every year.
Different people. Different ideas. Different skills. Different countries.
One fused vision.
That philosophy has allowed something that started at my desk in Germany to grow into relationships and partnerships around the world.
Production has expanded beyond Germany to partners in the United States, Australia and India, with the network continuing to grow across the UK, Canada, Japan, Switzerland, Singapore, South Korea and beyond.
Not because Fused Visions needs to be everywhere.
But because working with people locally makes our products and ideas more accessible globally.
Instead of trying to build everything ourselves, we build together.
The products aren’t Fused Visions. The people are.
It would be easy to tell the story of Fused Visions through products.
The Slowfeeder. The Pietro Core System. The Ultimate Brew Station. The dozens of smaller ideas, accessories and experiments that came before and after them.
But products aren’t what made Fused Visions possible.
People did.
The customers who trusted an unknown maker with his first designs.
The testers who spent months using prototypes and telling me exactly what was wrong with them.
The makers who answered a message and were willing to explore an idea together.
The partners who decided to produce, distribute and support Fused Visions products thousands of kilometres away from where they were originally designed.
And the coffee community that shared our work, challenged our ideas and helped turn a tiny project into something much larger than I ever expected.
Without those people, Fused Visions is just a collection of products.
With them, it becomes something else entirely.
Features can be replaced. A vision can’t.
Products change.
Technology improves. Better solutions appear. Something innovative today can become completely normal tomorrow.
That’s how progress is supposed to work.
So I don’t believe the future of Fused Visions can depend on protecting a feature, a mechanism or a single successful product forever.
Features can and will be replaced. A vision lasts forever.
Our vision is to keep experimenting.
To keep questioning how things are done.
To collaborate with people who share that mindset.
To make great ideas accessible to more people around the world.
And above all, to innovate rather than imitate.
Built by a community
Fused Visions may have started with one person and a 3D printer, but it isn’t a one-person story anymore.
It’s a growing network of makers, manufacturers, partners, testers, coffee professionals and enthusiasts spread across the world.
People with different backgrounds, different skills and sometimes completely different approaches to coffee.
That’s exactly the point.
Because the best ideas don’t always come from competing with the person next to you.
Sometimes they happen when you sit down together.
Share what you know.
Combine what each of you does best.
And build something neither of you could have built alone.
The journey is just getting started.
I don’t know what the most important Fused Visions product will be five years from now.
And I actually like that.
Because Fused Visions was never meant to be defined by a single product.
It’s an idea about how we build things and how we treat the people building alongside us.
Collaborate instead of compete.
Innovate instead of imitate.
Share ideas instead of guarding them.
Build relationships instead of walls.
And see what becomes possible when different visions come together.
That’s Fused Visions.
Let’s build together.
