The Timemore Sculptor 078 features a side-mounted grind size indicator that isn't always easy to read, especially when making small adjustments.
We've developed two different upgrades to improve visibility and make grind size adjustments more intuitive, whether you prefer a subtle improvement to the original design or an entirely new way of reading your grind settings.
Model 1 - Pro – Front-Facing Dial & Top Indicator
Your grind settings. Right where you're looking.
Why should you have to look at the side of your grinder to check your grind setting when you're already standing right in front of it?
Our Front-Facing Dial Upgrade introduces a numbered dial and a dedicated indicator that installs onto the grinder, relocating the visual reference point from the side to the top.
This makes it significantly easier to read and adjust your grind size from a natural viewing angle, without having to lean over or look around the grinder.
The upgrade doesn't alter the grinder's mechanical zero point or adjustment mechanism. Instead, it allows you to align the new numbered dial with your grinder's existing burr zero position.
Simply find your grinder's zero point by carefully adjusting until the burrs begin to chirp, then install and align the new dial so that its zero marking matches the new top indicator.
The result is a more intuitive, front-facing adjustment experience that feels like it should have been there from the beginning.
Model 2 - Standard – Extended Dial Indicator
A small change that makes a noticeable difference.
Designed for those who appreciate the original grinder's workflow but wish the grind setting were easier to read.
This simple add-on fits around the existing grind adjustment dial and visually extends the grinder's original side indicator line.
